"The Void" is the very last piece composed for the album, in June 2024. I wanted to conclude the episode on the island with a more suspended moment, relying mainly on strings, with the gradual addition of two important markers from previous tracks: the crew represented by the choir and one of the two Becker brothers themes, played here at a mid-tempo.
